I purchased three different scooters, two lift chairs and a chair lift from Spinlife. The first scooter I purcahse was in 2008 and still going strong inspite of the hard service I give it. They were all delivered in proper time and am very satisfied with the service. I had a battery leakage problem with one scooter. They sent a local rrepair man to replace the batteries with no problem Have... Read more

My scooter is less than 3 months old and will not move. I called SpinLife and am waiting for a tech to make an appointment for repairs. It's been 5 days so far. I do not intend to do what others are apparently doing: trying to work things out with SpinLife. I will give them ONE TIME to get my scooter in good working order. If they can't/won't, I will take this to Consumer Affairs. The BBB is a... Read more

Having placed an order for a lifting chair from Spinlife for my elderly parents, I can say this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. Let me explain. My parents are in their 80’s and live in Northern California. I live in Southern California. They don’t own a computer. When my mother asked me to help her with my father’s inability to get up out of his... Read more

I was trying a lay back and take a nap and the chair smelled like it caught a fire!!!!! It stopped moving front or back, I didn't know what was the matter with the chair since it was new and I got a second year warranty on the chair. Please advise when it can be replaced or fixed? I've tried calling the phone number to no avail. You advertise that this is the best power lift and recline chair... Read more

I first contacted spin life's customer service on the 11th of October 2014 with a battery charging issue. I was questioned as if I were the "dumbest" person on earth!! I was then told to take the batteries to a local auto parts store and have the batteries checked?? I asked the customer service person how they could know it was a problem with the batteries and not the charger if they were not... Read more

I had a bad experience replacing my power chair. A local vendor obligated me for $17,000 and used up my insurance allowance, and the chair was unsuitable and couldn't be used. I went to SpinLife. The attractive catalog and low prices (about $5000 for same chair as first vendor) got me. In July 2014 I sent a $10,000 order for new equipment. No feedback, no promised "white glove service." I found... Read more

Ordered wheelchair on 08-16-14, money removed from my bank account almost immediately. Chair was advertised as "in stock" leaves warehouse in 3-5 business days. I called on the eighth business day they could give me a ship date or any other status for that matter. "A lot of things have been back ordered lately" the woman at Spinlife said over the phone (second phone call to check order status)... Read more

I ordered a mobility scooter in March 2013, and have been trying to get it repaired for over 6 months. With this purchase I have what is referred to as the "5 Star Service" contract. This was handled by a division of Invacare called "Road Runner Mobility". Road Runner Mobility has since gone out of business and a company called "Wheelchair and Scooter Repair" has taken over this service... Read more

The company promised immediate shipping, but then after 2 weeks claimed they had to wait for my "e-check" to clear before shipping my scooter... WHAT? E-checks are instant money like ACH. Then they couldn't find my order or shipment information. They were still trying to locate info when the thing was delivered. Of course, missing parts. The delivery person made my husband take it off the... Read more
